Waterloo Elmwood Cemetery was created by a few individuals looking for a beautiful, peaceful final resting place for their families. The original cemetery was privately owned by these individuals, but was later converted to a non-profit organization. 
The cemetery is home to many of Waterloo’s founding families. The Leavitt Family and many more decided to make Waterloo Elmwood Cemetery its final resting place for generations. We invite you to take a Elmwood walk visit those early families. What history do you have in Elmwood?
